SMJV enables its students for a life-long love for knowledge and discovery. At every opportunity our students are encouraged to take pleasure in finding self and general wisdom. They are aided in acquiring advanced skills to propose and create solutions and develop a high-level of thinking, leadership and teamwork skills.

Houses

The House system at SMJV is of great importance to school life. It's function is to encourage healthy competition within school and to give all students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities with the aim of raising self esteem, developing self confidence and giving opportunities for leadership and teamwork beyond those already available within school.

We believe that "Every child is a Star at SMJV".

Thus, each House name is derived from a Star.

All students from Grade 1 to 10 are allocated one of the four Houses:
